By accessing or using MacroLens, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

MacroLens is an AI-powered nutrition tracking application that provides:

• AI-based meal photo analysis for calorie and macro estimation
• Barcode scanning for packaged food nutrition data
• Voice and text-based meal logging
• Personalized calorie and macro targets based on user-provided body metrics
• Diet plan management, intermittent fasting timer, and progress tracking
• Community features for sharing meals and discovering recipes

3. Health Disclaimer

MacroLens is NOT a medical device, healthcare service, or substitute for professional medical advice.

• All calorie, macro, and micronutrient values provided by our AI are estimates and may not be 100% accurate.
• Do not rely solely on MacroLens for dietary decisions related to medical conditions, allergies, or food intolerances.
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet.
• MacroLens is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
• If you have a medical condition (e.g., diabetes, eating disorders, food allergies), use this app only under professional guidance.

4. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Free Tier: Includes 3 AI photo scans per day, 5 barcode scans per day, and 7 days of meal history.

Premium Subscription: Unlocks unlimited AI scans, barcode scans, full meal history, micronutrient tracking, weekly/monthly reports, progress photos, community features, and all advanced features.

• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings.
• Refunds are handled according to Apple App Store or Google Play Store refund policies.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

6. User Content & Community Guidelines

When using community features, you agree to:

• Not post harmful, offensive, abusive, or illegal content
• Not harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Not post spam, advertisements, or misleading content
• Not impersonate other users or entities
• Not share content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Respect other users and maintain a positive community environment

We reserve the right to remove content and ban users who violate these guidelines without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of MacroLens (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software) are owned by MacroLens and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the App without our express written permission.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the App or its servers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use the App for commercial purposes without our written consent

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• MacroLens is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any nutritional information provided by the App.
• We are not liable for any health consequences resulting from dietary decisions made based on the App's data.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the App (Profile > Settings > Delete Account) or by contacting us at macrolens.app@gmail.com.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
